I want to purchase a orthopedic dog bed from This company (great designs too!!): http://www.laikadesign.com/en/ runs about 75$... are they a really good type of beds?

I have a 4yr old mix about 20lbs, he has luxtating patellas with both legs, and 1 luxtating hip, developing arthritis. he also had muscle spasms in his neck a few weeks, the vet hopes it was just from jumping weird. He is on joint supplements, which have helped him greatly I am looking in to getting him an orthopedic dog bed since he needs a new bed anyhow, and was wondering if they really help. Looking for answer from someone with experience of these beds.

its for my 13 year old rottie/german shepherd. shes starting to have trouble with her hips and she needs a really good bed. do you have any suggestions? price doesnt matter. thanks!xo

Looking for referrals on Orthopedic Dog Beds. I have an 11 year old Rott/Boxer mix who is tossing and turning all night long. Looking for something that will support her weight (95lbs) and relieve her pain and allow her to sleep comfortably. Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

My dog is getting old and has mild arthritis. She's on glucosamine and the arthritis doesn't bother her much, but I have noticed that in the morning she's a bit stiff until she walks around for a little. She's an 80 lb Lab, so I need something that will hold her weight and won't flatten. I don't want to spend more than $150. Do you know any websites that sell good ones? Also, how thick should it be? I have 2 boxers who love to share a dog bed. I've had several beds in the past and they just break down and flatten! The beds from Pet** and PetS**** just aren't any good. I've been told LL Bean and Mammoth have good beds. Help!

i am looking to buy an orthopedic dog bed for my 14 year old Australian Shepard mix dog who has arthritis in his back hips. does anyone have any recommendations on a GOOD orthopedic dog bed that is not super expensive (around $50 or less, preferably)? what are things to look for in one? is the egg crate foam style best or the memory foam style? etc.

this might sound silly but just bought my dogs orthopaedic beds from argos,and im not sure which side they should sleep on!do you have the flat side up on the bumpy side up? sorry for being so clueless!

I have been told by my Veterinarian to purchase a durable dog bed and I wasn't sure on who has the best pet memory foams dog beds for orthopedic conditions in my older dog buddy. Does anyone know more about K9 orthopedics and can refer me to a truly orthopedic ped bed and maybe a Pet travel bed? Thanks, Cindy

prevent damage to their joints and bones later on? I know they're recommended for older, aging and arthritic dogs but wondered whether they'd be better than a regular quality dog bed for a younger dog.
